What products are curved batteries usually used in?

Curved batteries are commonly used in wearable devices such as smart bands, smart glasses, and VR headsets. Their curved design allows them to fit the product’s shape, maximize battery compartment space, and extend device runtime.

Depending on the manufacturing process, ultra-thin lithium batteries can be made thinner than 2 mm, with some reaching as slim as 0.8 mm. They are ideal for smart cards, medical sensors, and ultra-thin electronic devices.

Wide-temperature batteries can operate stably in extreme environments from –30℃ to +75℃. With special formulations, some can extend to –40℃ to +80℃, making them suitable for military, outdoor exploration, and high-temperature industrial applications.

In some designs, energy density may be slightly lower than that of standard batteries due to safety and structural requirements. However, with optimized materials and structural design, special-shaped batteries can still maintain relatively high energy density.

The development cycle for customized batteries usually takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the product’s complexity. If special materials or extreme environment testing is involved, the timeline may be longer.
